Quilting by Hand is No Joke

I haven't felt like myself in a very long time.  I'm not feeling too well.  So while I lay in bed, exhausted, and hand stitching.

I'm hand stitching a place mat.  Or as those in the know call it a mug rug.  Just about 1 sqft.

I'll be doing more hand quilting for the rest of my life because I'm taking over Cor's Left Over Quilt.  I will probably go insane shortly thereafter.

I'll be quilting it by hand. Her quilting stitches need more practice.  Then again I may still be weak keeping me out of the workroom and only hand stitching in bed.

  1. I hope you get to feeling better soon. You could always put Cor's quilt away, and save it for her to finish. I had a quilt top floating around for 12 years before I finally finished it. I had started it when my son was a toddler. It had moved with us and smelled musty. But I washed it and layered it to use for FMQ practice. I keep it in my car trunk as an emergency quilt.
