The need is great. Children deserve a safe shelter, food, and guidance. They need the right people. The process is long and requires a lot of information. Not a lot of staff, but lots of work.
Here are the quilts for future kids coming to my home.
These blocks were made by the Quilts For Kids flickr group.

I have two biological children. The max number of kids allowed by DSS is five. Our home can have three foster children. We have one crib and three twin beds. I've got some work to do.

Wow... becoming a foster family is a big, exciting step. Best of luck with the rest of the process. The quilts are wonderful. They should make any child feel welcome and special.
