I really had no idea on how I was going to quilt Rainbow Burst for the DQS13 Swap. Using this picture, I took it into a paint program and drew up some ideas. A first time at drawing in quilting lines on a computer. At first I tried feathers and pebbles, no like. Straight lines were definitely the way to go.

Wow! Just Wow! What are you marking your quilting lines with?

ReplyDeleteThis is such a striking design. I was doodling something similar about a month ago, and your finished top really makes me want to get started making it a reality! I love how the quilting plan looks. I haven't tried hand-quilting yet, but it seems like a great fit for this quilt.
